Maraziti, Falcon & Healey, LLP was selected by the New Jersey
Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) to be instructors for the 3-day
program entitled, “The Redevelopment Training Process.” The
program is part of the Redevelopment Training Institute
sponsored by NJRA, which offers comprehensive training with
regard to the legal, financial, real estate, political and
practical aspect of redevelopment in New Jersey. It is more
comprehensive than a one-day seminar and includes lectures,
interactive discussion, mock presentations, workshops and case

The program was held
at Thomas Edison State College the week of October 23, 2006.
Maraziti, Falcon & Healey taught the program with Heyer & Gruel
Associates, a
planning firm in New Brunswick, NJ. The 3-day
program was the first of its kind in New Jersey and was
extremely
well received. The program will be presented again in
April 2007.
The training is geared for municipal planning and
economic development
officials, non-profit and for-profit
developers, community development corporations, economic
development corporations, elected officials and local government
bodies. The goal of the NJRA Training Institute is to assist
the redevelopment community prepare practical, effective
redevelopment plans using all the tools available from NJRA and
other state and federal agencies for redevelopment and brownfields projects in urban and suburban environments. The
