(Fall 2002) The Regional Planning Partnership honored Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. by presenting him with the Van Zandt Williams, Jr. Community Involvement Award at its annual awards dinner on October 24 in Trenton. The award recognizes Joe’s outstanding commitment to improving the quality of New Jersey life by bringing his personal leadership to the challenge while serving as Chairman of the State Planning Commission.

Christopher H. Falcon (Summer 2002) was elected in June as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Morris 2000, a public interest
a public interest organization which convenes parties concerned over issues of regional significance, formulates recommendations, and fosters the implementation of the recommendations by new organizations formed for the purpose or by existing public/private entities. Morris 2000 was created in 1984 to promote and further the quality of life in Morris County. Prior to being elected Chairman, Kit served as a Trustee of the Board since 1998.

MFH wins AEA's 2002 Wave Award (Spring 2002) At its annual conference in Atlantic City this year, the Association of Environmental Authorities honored the firm by presenting it with the prestigious Wave Award for the Outstanding Member Company.
Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. and David J. Ruitenberg (Spring 2002) completed mediation training and were added to the State’s roster of court approved mediators. The firm now offers services of impartial mediators in the creative resolution of redevelopment, environmental and land use disputes.
