• April 11, 2011 - Joseph J. Maraziti Jr., participated on a Panel regarding the use of the powers of eminent domain in the context of redevelopment sponsored by the Environmental Law Society at Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ. The Moderator was Professor Bell. Other panelists were Vice Dean Ronald K. Chen, Esq.; Robert Beckelman, Esq. of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis; and R. William Potter, Esq. of Potter & Dickson.
• November 17, 2010 – New Jersey State League of Municipalities Annual Conference. Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr., was a speaker on the How Municipalities Can Create A Redevelopment Identity: A Key Element for Economic Success. This event was held during the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Convention at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ.
• November 5, 2010 – APA/NJ Planning Conference – Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr., was a panelist at the Conference on Leadership in Planning. The event was held at The Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick, NJ. This event was hosted by American Planning Association New Jersey Chapter and The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
• Maraziti, Falcon & Healey, LLP, was selected by the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority to be instructors on October 12, 13 and 14, 2010 at the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority Community Redevelopment Training Institute. Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. spoke on the topic of Rezone, Rehabilitate or Redevelop; Recent Developments in Litigation; and Step Four - Negotiating the Redevelopment Agreement in Challenging Economic Times Municipal Side/Redeveloper Side (Profit and Non-Profit).
• September 29, 2010 - New Jersey Redevelopment Agency - Governor’s Conference on Housing & Community Development – Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. was a speaker on Creating A Redevelopment Identity. Mr. Maraziti discussed the importance of the Housing and Redevelopment Law in shaping the Redevelopment Identity, which included City requirements and Redevelopment Plan. This event was held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, NJ.
• September 21, 2010 – New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) - Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. was a guest speaker. He gave a lecture on Planning Issues in New Jersey – The State Plan, Smart Growth and Redevelopment.
• August 31, 2010 – City of Hoboken hosted a Redevelopment 101 informative seminar to educate the public on the redevelopment process. Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. was a guest speaker and gave a lecture about the redevelopment process from start to finish.
• June 15, 2010 – Environmental Land Use Law and Regulations (Short Course) at Cook College, New Brunswick, NJ, Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr. gave a lecture on Smart Growth and the State Plan.

Maraziti, Jr. was a speaker and introduced how New Jersey's assets and liabilities are connected to land use and how PlanSmart NJ's vision as to how to solve the problems.
